My Weight Loss Success! Lost 10kgs in 6 months!
 
Real Results  

In the past, I have tried to lose weight by occasionally playing badminton, swimming and even participating in walkathons and runs. Exercising has never been a priority for me. I love food and whenever I feel stressed, I often turned to food for comfort. As a result, my weight have been spiraling upwards from 77kgs in 2005 and hit a hefty 89kgs in 2007 due to frequent indulgence in food, irregular exercise and being bound to a desk everyday at work. I had low energy levels, was frequently lethargic and had a big belly. I was unable to buy clothes that I liked and could only wear loose clothing.

I then decided to take control of my life and enrolled as a member of Fitness First Damansara Uptown in February 2008.
I was introduced to Vikky, who took me through my first two complimentary Personal Training sessions. It was really a struggle to complete the sessions, but Vikky gave me the encouragement and the push to motivate me to achieve my workout goals.

It is one of my New Year resolutions to lose at least 10 kgs in 2008, I decided to sign up for Personal Training sessions with Vikky. Three times a week, Vikky would bring me through one hour of weights training and half an hour of cardio workout on the treadmill. There were so many times I wanted to give up, but Vikky always monitored my progress, provided continuous motivation and made sure that I completed the exercise routines correctly to ensure I obtained the benefits from each session.

As I progressed through the sessions, he modifies the training programme in terms of the intensity of the training and types of exercises to keep things fresh and interesting. Vikky's friendly disposition and good sense of humour helped me get through each session. In addition, he challenges me to run faster, carry heavier weights and do more sets when my strength improved. Vikky insists that I complete at least 3 ½ km on the treadmill
in an half an hour after every workout session. I always feel revitalized and there is always a sense of achievement after each workout.

In 6 months, my weight have dropped to a healthy 79kgs - a total of 10 kgs weight loss! In addition to feeling lighter, my stamina, flexibility and strength had improved. I also sleep better at night, which allowed me to have better focus and improve my concentration in my studies and work. I have also received many compliments from my family and colleagues. Some people whom I've met for the first time even thought that I am still a college student! My goals now are to lose a few more kgs, and to have a better built. I am sure that I would be able to achieve my goals with Vikky's support.
