I feel younger and have more self-confidence!
 
Real Results  
In July 2006, I arrived in Penang unfit, overweight and a sight for sore eyes! In the preceding two years I had gained a lot of weight. I had been studying in a university, running a home with 3 kids and working full time. Needless to say, I felt pretty stressed and when I’m stressed I overeat or ‘comfort’ eat. Before I knew it I had ballooned and weighed heavier than when I was full term pregnant with my babies!!

In Penang, I had some free time and it was an ideal opportunity for me to focus on losing weight, getting fit and improving my well being. I visited the doctor soon after moving into my new house and she was horrified at my weight (74kg on her scale) - she wasn’t the only one!! I joined Fitness First as I was a member before in the UK. I was fortunate enough to meet Gim, my Fitness First Personal Trainer who worked me really hard, pushing me out of my comfort zone at each session and motivating me to eat healthy food. Gradually the weight began to come off and I had a well toned body - the result of all my training with Gim!

Gim never gave up on me and encouraged me all the way. I was pleased to succeed for him as well as for myself. On my last body fat test I had lost 11.2 kg and 17 inches from my body!! Last Christmas was the best ever as I wore a lot of lovely dresses and even bought a new Levis jeans- a novelty to be able to buy anything in Penang that would actually fit! Also, I need to acknowledge Alan, my RPM™ instructor, who has me addicted to the classes! Thank you to everyone at Fitness First for helping me all the way, especially to Gim, who is now my friend as well as my trainer.
