My Weight Loss Success! Lost 10kgs in 6 months!
 
Real Results  
I would like to share what I have gained throughout my fitness journey at Fitness First.

Before joining Fitness First, I did not possess high confidence and had low self esteem. I was even more embarrassed whenever I wanted to buy clothes that I liked; but the promoter would tell me “Sir, I’m sorry but we do not have your size”. I envy other slim and fit young men who can just buy any shirts that they like. I felt sorry for myself and felt very discouraged.

I remember vividly when I first signed up as a member at Fitness First Klang Bukit Tinggi. It took me a lot of courage to get started on fitness especially when I had lots of doubts on whether it was worth my investment and whether or not I would see my desired results. I was unsure of my own determination and perseverance to stay till the very end. Luckily I met Jason Lim Sze Ming, a personal trainer who is professional in his conduct. I consulted him for the possibility of reducing my weight from 125kgs to my ideal weight of 80kgs. Jason shared with me lots of fitness facts and its benefits during my complimentary Personal Training session which helped clear my doubts. Immediately, I made the decision to challenge myself to stay focused on my objective of losing weight and I signed up for the Personal Training package.

Since then, I have reduced my weight, improved my stamina and my fitness level has also increased.

When I started the training with Jason, it was really harsh and tough for me as I was not physically active and I had no sports involvement as well because I did not like the outdoors. Somehow I managed to get myself started and pushed myself to workout everyday. Weighing in at 125kgs as I did, every movement during the workout was truly a challenge especially the Cardio Exercises. I could not even run and within just a few steps, I would pant like crazy. With the proper designated programme by Jason Lim, we started with the very basics. The little secret that kept me going to reach beyond my own limits was the calories burned presented at the cardio machine. Every calorie I burned equated to the points I scored as I knew I could reach my ideal weight in the end. Throughout the training sessions, I began to learn more, understand what progressive training is all about and why it is so important to have the workouts planned out in stages.

After 3 months of hard work and consistency with the proper guidance from my trainer Jason, I lost 15kgs. However, along the journey, I almost gave up because it was really tough for me as I was still 100++kgs. However, when I recalled my goals when I signed up for this journey and the great encouragement from Jason to stay focused, I decided that I will push myself beyond my own limits.

Finally, I was truly amazed with my own relentless efforts. My friends and relatives were surprised when they saw me. What excites me most is that even my neighbors could not recognise me. I lost a whopping 45kgs in 10months and that feeling is simply AWESOME. My outlook and confidence has sky rocketed ever since and I can really start back my healthy living. Apart from that, I started to go shopping for more clothes and started to understand and appreciate the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.

I know that this is just the beginning of me leading a quality lifestyle. From all the above, what I would like to say is, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE when you have the determination. Never ever hesitate to go for it. Good things always wait for you at the end of your journey. In addition, I am really grateful to Fitness First and my personal trainer who helped transform me into a healthier person.

Before I conclude, I would like to give my credit to my personal trainer Jason for guiding me throughout the course with patience and focus. I highly recommend him for those who are serious about seeing results. Be ready to follow and finish what he has got to give. He helped me to complete this “Amazing race”.
