When I arrived in Penang 3 years ago, I was quite overweight. My weight gradually increased as I could not resist the new dishes in Penang. My weight reached its peak when I went back to UK for my daughter’s church blessing because I ate all my favorite dishes like fish & chips, meat & potato pie, and many other fatty foods. Needless to say, when I returned to Penang 6 months later I was terribly overweight and reality hit me that I had fallen into the obese state. Therefore, I was determined to do something about it. I started to swim everyday for about 30 lengths. Unfortunately, my weight still stayed on.
In January 2007, I was shopping at island Plaza and I came across Fitness First. I decided to join and I then weighted 95kg.
In February, I was introduced to Gim and had my Power Pack training sessions with him. He gave me a lot of encouragement and motivation to lose my weight. I decided to take up a personal training session package with Gim.
With regular training, I was pleased how well Gim trained me on my problematic areas. He thought me great training methods to strengthen my lower body. I was amazed with the result I achieved. Besides losing weight and inches, I have gained more energy and better flexibility. The improved level has eased me in doing my daily tasks and most importantly I have more self-confidence. I feel much younger even though I am nearly 64 years old. Now I can’t wait to show my daughter the new me and the weight that I have lost this coming Christmas! |
